I fought miami and I won!!!!
Everything from mobster capo's offering me and alex yacht rides with beautyful women, yakuza killers sunning themselves, women I could never speak to parading about topless, the most stunning hotel room I've ever set eyes on, stars, glitz, glamor.
AND THAT ISN'T HALF OF IT!
Miami was a fucking blast. I will never stop regreting having not bringing Annie. Well - It wasn't really my fault. But still. I'm taking her there someday - I swear to you all.
Alex has video footage of the entire experience. We tried to bring the camera in the middle of the night for the PARTY CHAOS that was going on. Two nights in a row ROWS APON ROWS of fucking people were parading into the Delano for party times. Cool people too - not just assholes. I have to admit, I don't get off on partying. I think I had more fun watching people and talking to alex than anything else(Like we did much else.) But either way - I fucking loved it. Just being there was great.
I'd like to point out really quickly, yes, I am fucking wierd. I don't like roller coasters, I don't like driving fast, I don't like drugs, I don't like drinking, I don't like that shit. It's no fun for me. But seeing those people there, just being in the corner for all of it - watching russian chess players duke it out on a massive chess board near the pool. SEEING miami at night! The sounds, the places, and smells, all of it made me fucking scream for more. I ripped up my feet within the first few hours(Walking around in bath sandals up and down ocean drive) and I still couldn't stop moving around the city. I liked being there, and as much as I'll never be normal and enjoy the things most people do, I'll don't know if another city could touch Miami as far as just to be there.
<3 you all.
